Cory Yeoman
Cory is an accredited member of the Institute of Municipal Assessors of Ontario and a Licensed Paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario. Cory has been active in the Ontario property assessment and taxation industry for approximately 20 years. He commenced his career as a Consultant with Yeoman & Associates, a realty tax consulting firm based out of Newmarket, Ontario which later became a publicly traded company with a specialized division for property assessment and taxation services. In 2012, Cory formed Yeoman & Company with his brother Andrew. Today, Yeoman & Company represents some of Canada’s largest owners and management companies including developers, real estate investment trusts, and government-related entities in Ontario. Cory has significant experience in dealing with a broad range of properties which includes but is not limited to special purpose properties, multi-residential, retail & commercial, industrial, and development lands. Tom has been active in the Ontario real estate and property assessment and taxation industry for over 20 years, commencing as a property assessment officer with the Ontario Property Assessment Corporation (now recognized as the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation), and then with the Ontario Realty Corporation, in the property tax and land use planning group. He was then acquired by a publicly traded company within a division that focused exclusively on property assessment valuation and taxation services. Tom joined Yeoman and Company in 2012 as a partner in the firm and continues to represent and focus on complex and investment assets which include developer, government, hydro electric transmission and real estate investment trusts. Tom’s continued dedication to the industry has led him to serve on various industry groups and to speak at events which relate to valuation and property taxation in relation to the continuing industry changes. Eva Kunszt
Eva a Licensed Paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario and is an associate member of the Institute of Municipal Assessors. Eva’s career in the property taxation and assessment industry commenced in February 2017 at Yeoman and Company. She is skilled in property valuation techniques and has a solid knowledge of Ontario assessment policies and key assessment and municipal taxation legislation. Eva is responsible for collecting, researching, and analyzing all relevant material to determine the fair and equitable value of properties and obtains consistently beneficial results for clients. Furthermore, Eva is responsible for completing property tax impacts and accurate tax forecasting for clients. Andrew Yeoman
Andrew formed Yeoman & Company with his brother, Cory, in February of 2012. Today, Yeoman & Company represents one of the largest developers, management companies, real estate investment trusts, and government-related entities in Ontario. Andrew is an accredited member of the Institute of Municipal Assessors of Ontario and a licensed paralegal with the Law Society of Upper Canada. Andrew’s background includes valuation for realty taxation and assessment. Andrew has been active in the Ontario property assessment and taxation industry for over 17 years, commencing as a consultant with Yeoman & Associates, and then as a Director with a publicly traded company acting in property assessment and taxation related matters. Andrew has been heavily involved in Real Estate Investment Trusts and privately owned portfolios. Areas of primary focus included industrial properties, shopping centers, single and multi-tenanted structures, open space lands, conservations lands, farmlands, and development lands. Andrew also has experience inspecting hydro properties as well as large manufacturing facilities for data collection and appeal purposes. Andrew has appeared as an expert witness and an advocate for appeals before the Assessment Review Board and is well recognized in the assessment and realty tax consulting industry. Laura Vessey
Laura is a Licensed Paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario and is an accredited member of the Institute of Municipal Assessors of Ontario (designation AIMA). Laura’s career with Yeoman & Company Paralegal Professional Corporation commenced in February 2016. She has been trained in assessment valuation techniques, assessment policies and legislation, as well as Alternative Dispute Resolution. She has solid valuation and legal research skills and experience in legal document preparation. Laura has experience in a wide range of property types, including multi-residential, retail and commercial, industrial, and development lands. Laura is involved in the industry and has been a guest speaker numerous times for Seneca College’s Real Property Administration program and the Paralegal Diploma Program. DANIELLE ASHTON-BROWN

Donna’s career with Yeoman & Company Paralegal Professional Corporation commenced in July 2018 with a focus on analysis, research and reporting on various aspects of the assessment and tax mitigation area within the Province of Ontario. Donna brings a dynamic attitude and tremendous work ethic to her current position at Yeoman & Company Paralegal Professional Corporation. Donna’s primary function is to assist in the drafting and submission of all RFPs, drafting of contracts and initial filing of client set-up and day-to-day client administration. Her work duties include performing research and analysis of various properties in Ontario and creating reports to assist our team with appeals. This includes the researching of sales and creating detailed rental schedules. She also regularly contacts municipal offices to make inquiries and gather information regarding client properties. Donna brings an analytical mind and strives to manage our practice to the highest level of excellence. Scott Niepage
Scott is a member of the Institute of Municipal Assessors of Ontario and a licensed paralegal with the Law Society of Upper Canada. Scott’s background includes analysis and valuation for realty taxation and assessment. Scott has been active in the Ontario property assessment and taxation industry for over 29 years, commencing as a property assessment officer with the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation, specializing in Commercial and Industrial assessments, then with Price Waterhouse Coopers as a Senior Consultant where he managed property portfolios, both large and small, prepared tax budgets, tax estimates, performed assessment appeals, due diligence reviews, etc. Scott then brought his expertise to Yeoman & Associates in 1998, which then was transitioned into a Public Company in 2005. In 2008 Scott became a licensed Paralegal and in 2012, joined Cory and Andrew Yeoman in the newly formed Yeoman & Company as a Partner. Scott’s broad scope of properties includes Development Lands, Government-owned Properties, Commercial/Industrial Single and Multi-tenanted properties, Open Space and Conservation Lands, as well as Hotels and Multi-Family. David P. Gibson
David Gibson is the past chair of the Legislative Committee of the Canadian Property Tax Association (CPTA), an accredited member of the Institute of Municipal Assessors of Ontario (designation MIMA), a member and past President of the Association of Ontario Land Economists (designation PLE), and a Licensed Paralegal, under the Law Society of Upper Canada. He has completed reviews of assessment for all classes of property and has appeared as an expert witness and advocate at the Assessment Review Board, the Ontario Municipal Board and Superior Court of Ontario. David brings more than 35 years of experience in the property tax consulting field. David has spoken on many occasions in the areas of Assessment, Valuation and Legislative changes to organizations such as the Canadian Property Tax Association, Durham Regional Real Estate Board, Toronto Real Leasing Conference, and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He has contributed articles to publications such as The Land Economist and has been quoted in other publications such as Canadian Property Management Magazine. Through representation of a varied client base throughout Canada and the United States, David has been successful in achieving substantive reductions before the various tribunals for all facets of real estate including but not limited to office buildings, shopping centers, multi-unit residential buildings, single-purpose and multi-purpose industrial buildings. David spent 13 years of a 35-year career as a Property Tax Executive in the Business Development and Client Management roll, where he was tasked with leading the firm that was once considered the largest multi-disciplinary Real Estate Consulting firm in North America. Scott Johnson
Scott a Licensed Paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario and is an associate member of the Institute of Municipal Assessors (AIMA). Scott’s career in the property taxation and assessment industry commenced out of the City of Ottawa in October of 2019, Scott has been with Yeoman and Company since March of 2021. Scott has a strong understanding of property valuation techniques and has a solid knowledge of Ontario assessment policies and crucial assessment and municipal taxation legislation. Scott’s duties include the valuation analysis of various property types, preparation and filing of Request for Reconsiderations and Appeals, estimating and analyzing tax liability for clients, preparation of Statements of Issues and various appeal documents, preparation of client report spreadsheets and working on various municipal rebate applications.
